Baaghi TV: Lahore Qalandars CEO Atif Rana says that before PSL edition 6 started, he had expressed reservations.

Reacting to the indefinite postponement of PSL edition 6, Atif Rana said that it was a pity because a very good event was going on. He said, “Before PSL, we had expressed reservations. The protocols made by Board were also not implemented. Due to non-implementation of SOPs, the situation has reached this stage. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the postponement of the sixth season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) in view of increasing cases of corona virus.”

The difficult decision was made in an emergency meeting between the PSL management and the team owners due to the increasing number of Corona cases. The situation after the increase in Corona cases was discussed in the virtual meeting. Following a virtual meeting between the PCB and the team owners, the Pakistan Cricket Board has announced the immediate postponement of the HBL Pakistan Super League 6. The decision comes after seven corona cases surfaced in the league. The PCB will now immediately take steps to provide PCR testing, corona vaccine and isolation facilities to participants from all six teams.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chief Executive Wasim Khan and Director Commercial Babar Hamid will give more details at a press conference to be held at National Stadium Karachi at 3 pm. Video camera persons will not be allowed to attend the press conference due to limited space in the press conference room. However, the PCB will live stream the press conference on its YouTube channel.
