LCCI Thanks Chinese Embassy for Easing China Visa Process for Pakistani Businessmen

The Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry (LCCI) has thanked the Chinese Embassy in Islamabad for easing the visa process for Pakistani businessmen after the removal of the apostille requirement for character certificates and bank statements.

In a statement issued Thursday, LCCI said the facilitation underscores Chinese authorities’ commitment to strengthening trade and economic ties between Pakistan and China.

The Chamber noted that relaxing these procedural requirements will significantly cut documentation hurdles, save time, and simplify the process for Pakistani businesspersons seeking Chinese visas.

LCCI lauded the Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan and the Visa Consular Section in Islamabad for their proactive role in ensuring visas are issued to Pakistani businessmen in a smooth, transparent, and expeditious manner.

“Such steps are highly encouraging for the business community, particularly for exporters, traders, and investors who frequently travel to China for trade fairs, business meetings, and industrial collaborations,” the Chamber said.

The Chamber added that China remains one of Pakistan’s most important trading partners, and the measures will further boost bilateral trade, strengthen business-to-business linkages, and open new avenues for joint ventures and investment in manufacturing, textiles, chemicals, engineering, and SMEs.

Improved visa facilitation, LCCI emphasized, will also increase participation of Pakistani businessmen in exhibitions, expos, and sourcing events in China, helping local industry integrate more effectively into global supply chains.
