While it was introduced in numerous cinemas across Saudi Arabia, and especially, in the newly operational cinemas. Gal Gadot’s Death on the Nile has been banned in countries that are vocal about their contempt for Israel and the ongoing genocide in Palestine.

The film belongs to the thriller and suspense genre and is highly anticipated by fans, however, Arab countries have banned it over Gadot’s presence. It is pertinent to note that Jewish actress Gal Gadot who has previously appeared in films like Wonder Woman and Fast & the Furious saga has always been vocal in her support of Israeli aggression. She has also been known for referring to Hamas (Islamic organization) as a terrorist.

Gal Gadot was selected as “Miss Israel” in 2004, after which she began her career in modeling and then acting. Under Israeli law, she, like other Jewish women, has served in the Israeli army for a short period of time and is considered to be an Orthodox Jew.
