LHC throws out petition against Punjab Interim CM Naqvi

The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Monday rejected the petitions against the appointment of Punjab caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi.

While announcing the reserved verdict, the LHC upheld the election commission’s decision to appoint Syed Mohsin Naqvi as the Punjab caretaker chief minister.

LHC judge Justice Shahid Kareem pronounced the reserved judgment on the petitions of Awami Muslim League (AML) head Sheikh Rasheed and others.
