A Pakistan International Airlines flight from Islamabad to Madina was diverted to Karachi due to a technical problem, causing frustration and inconvenience to passengers.

Flight PK-713, carrying 331 passengers, faced a lengthy delay before departure. It finally took off from Islamabad at about 12:06 pm. When the aircraft was approximately 30 minutes from its destination, the cabin crew announced a return due to a “technical problem.”

The plane was redirected and landed safely at Jinnah International Airport in Karachi. Passengers disembarked and were shifted to the waiting lounge.

A PIA spokesman confirmed the diversion was due to technical reasons. “The flight will take off after the fault is repaired,” he added.

Reports indicate the aircraft involved was a Boeing 777. The technical issue emerged after more than three hours of flight, prompting the captain to divert the plane safely.
