Major Breakthrough in Group Captain Murder Case as CCTV Footage Emerges

A major development has surfaced in the investigation into the murder of a Pakistan Air Force Group Captain, with multiple CCTV videos of the arrested suspect, Saad Abbasi, coming to light.

According to police, one CCTV clip shows the suspect at Faizabad Bus Terminal before allegedly attempting to flee to Lahore. Another video reportedly captures him riding a motorcycle with a woman, while a separate footage shows him changing his clothes at a shop after the incident.

Initial investigations reveal that 20-year-old Saad Abbasi, a resident of Band Khanna Road in the jurisdiction of Khanna Police Station, is a matriculate and had previously worked as a salesman at an electronics shop.

Police said the incident occurred when the suspect allegedly tried to force a woman to accompany him. After she refused, an altercation broke out between the two. The Group Captain intervened to stop the suspect, leading to a heated exchange.

According to investigators, the suspect then opened fire on the Group Captain, fatally injuring him before fleeing the scene.

Police later arrested the suspect during an operation led by the SP City, and further investigation into the case is underway.
