Man Vomits Twice Onboard, Jumps from Taxiing Air Arabia Flight at Chennai Airport

India: In a shocking incident at Chennai International Airport, a male passenger opened an emergency exit and jumped out of a moving Air Arabia aircraft shortly after landing from Sharjah early Sunday morning.
The 34-year-old man had complained of nausea during the flight and is believed to have vomited twice on board. As the plane was taxiing toward the terminal after landing, he suddenly opened an emergency door and leapt onto the tarmac, leaving fellow passengers stunned.
Airport security personnel quickly detained the man and handed him over to police. No major injuries were reported. The incident caused a brief disruption at the airport as authorities inspected the area.
Officials indicated that the passenger’s unwell condition may have contributed to his actions. Investigations are underway to determine the full circumstances, including how he was able to open the emergency exit while the aircraft was on the ground.
Air operations resumed shortly afterward.
