Marwah Rape Case: DNA of the rapists matched

Karachi, 20th September: In the rape case of a 5-year-old girl Marwah, an accused Faiz and Abdullah’s DNA has matched.

According to details, the DNA of two accused Faiz and Abdullah involved in Marwah murder case has been matched.

While accused Nawaz has been proved innocent in the investigation. DNA samples of 34 persons were taken for verification.

5-year-old girl Marwah raped and burnt to death

DIG East Karachi, Noman Siddiqui said in a press conference that about 100 houses were checked, and DNA of 34 people was taken.

Various things and people kept coming up in the investigation, confirmation of DNA report of Faiz alias Faizu and Abdullah Afghani has been proven right. The fingerprints of the two also matched the clothes found on the girl’s body.

Noman Siddiqui said that it was a challenging case for the police. Faiz had disappeared from the area.

Faiz got help from a friend to run away on the phone. The friend explained why he had to run away if he did nothing. After researching, it was found out that the cloth was taken from a tailor’s shop, who recognized it.

The DIG said that Faiz was intoxicated and drank all night. In the morning, he took the girl to the first floor of his house and raped her.

Faiz called his friend Abdullah Afghani. They both wrapped the body in cloth and put it in the trailer, and then put it in the trash and threw it away.

It may be recalled that the fingerprints of the arrested accused Abdullah and Faizu were matched on September 17.

The two accused arrested in the Marwah case had confessed to raping and killing the girl. Faiz alias Faizu had said in his confessional statement that he and his partner Abdullah had abducted the girl, after which Marwah’s body was wrapped in cloth and thrown in a creek.
