Noor Muqaddam’s father and plaintiff Shaukat Ali Muqaddam’s statement was recorded earlier today. Before the statement, plaintiff Shaukat Ali Muqaddam was sworn in. “I have no personal enmity with anyone,” Shaukat Muqaddam told the court, “My daughter was killed unjustly, the accused should be sentenced to death”.

Strict security arrangements were made outside the court on this occasion. Noor Muqaddam’s father, Shaukat Muqaddam, appeared in court along with his lawyer. The accused Zahir Jaffar, the guard and gardener appeared in the court. Earlier, after the last hearing, the request to form a medical board for the accused was rejected.

Additional Sessions Judge Ata Rabbani issued a four-page written judgment stating that the court temporarily examined the mental condition of the accused and found no disability. The facts and the situation show that the accused has no mental illness. The excuse of mental illness was later offered to disrupt case proceedings and delay justice.

The court’s written statement added that there was no reason to form a medical board and the application was rejected. The accused has been facing trial with his parents, neither the accused’s parents nor any family member has applied to the medical board. The trial of the Noor Muqaddam murder case is now coming to an end.

According to earlier reports by Baaghi TV, the court rejected the request of killer-accused Zahir Jaffer for medical treatment in the Noor Muqaddam case and reserved its judgment till after the arguments of the parties’ lawyers.
