7th May, 2021 (Press Release): NACTA has extended the deadline for submission of entries for its National Short Film Contest 2021 up to 30th June 2021.

In March 2021 NACTA had announced a National Short Film Contest on theme of “Tolerant Society and Peaceful Coexistence”. The short films were initially supposed to be sent in by 30th April 2021.

However, in wake of the recent surge in COVID cases in the outgoing pandemic, and partial lockdown in various parts of the country, requests were received from interested participants for extension in the submission date. In view of these factors, it has been decided to extend this deadline up to 30th June 2021.

This extension would allow the public to participate in the activity in a more effective manner and send in better finished entries.

Except extension of submission deadline, there are no other changes to the original announcement.
