NDMA warns of thunderstorms, snowfall in various parts

National Disaster Management Authority has warned of thunderstorms and snowfall in various parts of the country in the next twenty-four hours.
According to an alert, a westerly weather system is set to sweep across most parts of the country within the next 12 to 24 hours, bringing strong winds, dust storms, and additional rainfall.
Citizens have been urged to avoid unnecessary travel, exercise caution while driving, and strictly follow official weather advisories.
Temperature of major cities recorded this morning:
Islamabad and Quetta seventeen degree centigrade, Muzafarbad fifteen, Lahore twenty, Karachi twenty-five, Peshawar and Gilgit eighteen while Murree six degree centigrade.
According to the weather forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, cloudy weather with chances of rain and wind with thunderstorm is expected in Srinagar, Jammu, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian and Baramula.
