No-trust move against Sanjrani will be thwarted: Faraz.
Senator Shibli Farz, the leader of house in Parliament, said on Wednesday that the government will resist any move to remove chairman of Senate.
According to reports of Baaghitv, Senator Shibli Faraz, leader of the house in Parliament on Wednesday said the PTI is chalking out a strategy to thwart the opposition bid to de-seat chairman of Senate, Sadiq Sanjrani and he is in contact with senators belonging to opposition in this regard.
“The opposition parties will need 53 senators to de-seat Sadiq Sanjrani. I don’t see that happening,” he told reporters at the Parliament House.
He said opposition is itself divided over several issues including this one, and he doesn’t envisage a change in Upper house of Parliament taking place. He added, he is against this strategy of buying off senators to win the election.
