Pakistan Navy Rescues Stranded Fishing Vessel Near Gwadar, Saves 19 Crew Members

Pakistan Navy Ship (PNS) Taimur on Thursday successfully rescued the fishing vessel FV Al Jalali, which had been stranded approximately 120 nautical miles south of Gwadar due to engine failure.
The operation, coordinated through the Joint Maritime Information Coordination Center (JMICC), ensured the safety of all 19 crew members on board, 11 Pakistanis and eight Iranians.
PNS Taimur provided the stranded fishermen with food, drinking water, and medical assistance before safely towing the vessel toward the shore. The rescue was carried out despite adverse monsoon conditions prevailing in the North Arabian Sea.
In a statement, the Pakistan Navy said the successful operation underscores its readiness to safeguard lives at sea and respond swiftly to maritime emergencies.
