Pakistan Pavilion, located in Opportunity District of Expo 2020 Dubai, aims to showcase Pakistan’s vast opportunities in tourism and commerce & investment to the global audiences.

According to the details, Pakistan Pavilion creates an optical illusion for almost 25 million visitors as they walk by the unique structure on a plot of 35,000 square feet. The facade consists of thousands of glass units of various sizes and colour at the Expo 2020 Dubai site.

The Expo 2020 Dubai will be held from October 1, 2021 to March 21, 2022 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), under the theme of ‘Connecting Minds, Creating the Future’.

Covering an area of 3,251 square metres, the pavilion under the theme ‘The Hidden Treasure’ aims to boost commerce, tourism and investment in Pakistan.

Pakistan Pavilion, that cost $28.72 million to build, will be divided into eight key spaces where the audience will learn about the hidden treasures of Pakistan. The global visitors will be taken on a voyage through time, starting from the 7000 years old civilisation to cultural and religious diversity and strong economic potentials in the country.

Moreover, inside the Pakistan Pavilion is a souvenir shop waiting for the visitors as well as a Pakistani cuisine restaurant by the name of ‘The Dhabba’ which will provide a taste of the most splendid cuisine from every part of the country.

Reports said that more than 1,200 companies and individuals will take part in the cultural events and business seminars through the six months of Expo 2020 Dubai.
