Plasma Center established at the University of Lahore

Lahore, 11th June: A plasma center has been set up at the University of Lahore for the treatment of coronavirus patients.

According to reports, a PCE immunization center has been set up at the teaching hospital of the University of Lahore.

According to details, Chairman Board of Governors Zavis Rauf inaugurated the PCE Immunization Center. He congratulated the entire team of Professor Mulazam Hussain Bukhari who is working day and night in this lab.

Professor Mulazam Hussain Bukhari said that the establishment of the first PCE Immunization Center of the University of Lahore Teaching Hospital in the private sector is another historic achievement.

It is the first center of its kind in the private teaching department, where the IGG produced in healthy people from Corona is skeletalized and injected into patients with COVID who recover very quickly.

Prof. Mulazam Hussain thanked Prof. Tahir Shamsi with whose team the center started providing more services in less time.

Earlier, Dr. Tahir Shamsi while addressing a press conference with VCUHS said that there is a problem of availability of plasma, plasma donors do not understand this, recovering patients are not donating plasma.

Giving plasma can save two lives and 80% of people recover from plasma.

Dr. Tahir Shamsi said that plasma has been transplanted to more than 200 people.

People recovering from COVID can donate plasma every week. Those recovering are urged to come forward and donate plasma.
