Prime Minister Imran Khan has decided to visit Azad Kashmir to make himself part of the election efforts. Meetings were held regarding details of the visit and election campaign strategies.

According to sources, preparations for Prime Minister Imran Khan’s visit to Azad Kashmir have entered their final stages. Chief Organizer Saifullah Niazi and Deputy Chairman Election Committee Tehreek-e-Insaf Azad Kashmir Sardar Tanveer Ilyas have had meetings in which detailed discussions were held on the visit and strategy for elections. The Deputy Chairman also gave an in-depth briefing to the Chief Organizer about the campaign, with the Chief Organizer also sharing his suggestions regarding the chosen course of action.

Sardar Tanveer Ilyas has stated that the Kashmiris consider Prime Minister Imran Khan their benefactor, and show eagerness towards welcoming him. He further went on to say that Saifullah Niazi’s decisions have warmed the blood of the Prime Minster and, with every passing day, the movement of justice is getting stronger. “Tehreek-e-Insaf will come to power in Azad Kashmir with a huge mandate,” he said, “And the Kashmiris will display a historic welcome for him.”.

Saifullah Niazi stated that the Prime Minister’s message will be conveyed to each house in Kashmir and that the Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) and the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) will be eliminated. According to him, consensus and unity should be launched on the Prime Minister’s ideology. The two leaders agreed to intensify their campaign efforts.

Elections in Azad Kashmir will be held on July 25. Political parties have already started campaigning. PPP Chairman Bilawal Zardari also made a visit to Kashmir and will, according to reports, visit again. PML-N leader Maryam Nawaz also has plans to go to Azad Kashmir for the campaign, and PTI leader Murad Saeed has already reached the region.
