According to Baaghi TV, Prime Minister Imran Khan visited the headquarters of the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF).
Prime Minister Imran Khan inaugurated the new building of ANF Headquarters. PM Imran Khan visited the Martyrs’ Memorial and paid homage to the martyrs. The Prime Minister was briefed on ANF’s operations.
On this occasion, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that we have to work against drug trafficking. Drug eradication measures were not taken into account earlier. Those who made money from drugs in the 80’s were misunderstood, because they harmed the society and the country. Money launderers used the money to bribe, campaign for and shelter criminals. Drug abuse is rampant in society, and its damage extends from our homes to the country. Seven million people in Pakistan have become addicted to drugs, drug money making was acceptable in society.
Prime Minister Imran Khan further said that drugs are silent killers. They lead to corruption, destruction ones mental state and principles. The drug abuse has also spread to universities. Drug ice is spreading in educational institutions, which is unfortunate. A nationwide campaign will be launched to eradicate drugs.
