PML-N announces Protest against Inflation

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has announced to take to the streets against inflation from tomorrow.
In the first phase, Rawalpindi has been selected for the protest. As per the sources have revealed, PML-N has formed a program of protest against inflation from October 20, under which the first demonstration will be held in Rawalpindi.
A meeting of PML-N was held under the chairmanship of Leader of the Opposition, Shahbaz Sharif, in which it was decided to take direct action for the protection of the rights of the people and the program of rallies, processions and demonstrations for nationwide protests was finalized.
The meeting decided to start protests against the government and inflation from October 20, which was also approved by the PML-N president.

According to sources, party officials in the provinces and districts have been called for protest while officials and workers in Rawalpindi have also been directed to prepare for tomorrow’s protest.
It may be recalled that Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman and Shahbaz Sharif, the leaders of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), had a telephone conversation recently, in which it was agreed to start a protest against the rising prices of petrol.
PML-N’s lifelong president Nawaz Sharif also endorsed the decision to protest and directed to show full people’s strength. Later, Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman called for a protest against inflation and announced to take to the streets from October 20.
