PMML Holds Nationwide Marka-e-Haq Events as Part of Ashra-e-Tashakkur Campaign

Lahore: Pakistan Markazi Muslim League (PMML) organized rallies, conferences and public gatherings across the country under its “Ashra-e-Tashakkur” campaign to commemorate the success of Marka-e-Haq, Bunyan-um-Marsoos. Speakers said that the events of May 9 and 10 last year proved that Pakistan’s defense is strong and secure, and that national unity is the most effective way to defeat all hostile designs against the country.

In Lahore, Muslim Kids organized a rally on Mall Road in which a large number of children from different parts of the city participated enthusiastically. The young participants carried national flags and expressed their love and admiration for the Pakistan Armed Forces. The rally echoed with slogans of “Pakistan Zindabad” and chants in support of the armed forces, while green and white balloons were released into the air to mark the occasion. Speakers said the passion and patriotic spirit shown by the children reflected the strong bond between the nation and its armed forces.

Meanwhile, Bunyan-al-Marsoos conferences, rallies and public meetings were held in Lahore, Rawalpindi, Quetta, Karachi, Hafizabad, Timergara, Jamshoro, Jacobabad, Kotri, Khushab, Gujrat, Faisalabad, Shahdadpur, Abbottabad, Haripur, Sialkot, Sargodha, Rahim Yar Khan, Gujranwala, Ahmadpur East, Bahawalpur, Talagang, Muzaffargarh, Mardan, Lodhran, Jauharabad, Khanewal, Pakpattan, Nowshera, Vehari, Dera Ismail Khan, Kasur, Larkana, Mansehra and several other cities.

The events were addressed by PMML President Khalid Masood Sindhu, Secretary General Saifullah Kasuri, Vice Presidents Hafiz Talha Saeed and Hafiz Abdul Rauf, Joint Secretary Muhammad Yaqoob Sheikh, Deputy Secretary Generals Hafiz Khalid Naik and Engineer Haris Dar, central spokesperson Dr. Muzammil Iqbal Hashmi, Chairman Khidmat-e-Khalq Chaudhry Shafeeq-ur-Rehman Waraich, President  Muslim Youth League (MYL) Tabish Qayyum, Secretary General Muslim Women League (MWL) Iffat Saeed and other leaders.

Speakers paid tribute to Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and the Pakistan Armed Forces for the success of Bunyan-um-Marsoos, and reaffirmed their resolve to make every sacrifice for the defense of the country. They said Pakistan has emerged on the global stage as both a victorious nation and a credible mediator, and stressed the need for economic self-reliance and freedom from dependence on external loans.

Thousands of people from all walks of life, including women and children, participated in the events carrying national flags and chanting slogans in support of the armed forces.

Special events included women’s rallies in Faisalabad, Vehari and Karachi, a boat rally in Jamshoro, and a Bunyan-um-Marsoos rally organized by the Pakistan Railways Inquilabi Union at Multan Railway Station.
