Drunk Monkey Found Asleep in Ranchi Wine Shop After Helping Itself to the Stock

India: In an unusual incident that has left locals amused and shopkeepers baffled, a monkey managed to sneak into a wine shop in Raanchi, allegedly consumed alcohol, and later fell into a deep sleep inside the premises.

According to reports, the primate entered the establishment unnoticed and helped itself to the available liquor. After its impromptu drinking session, the animal was found lying unconscious on the floor, appearing thoroughly intoxicated.

A rescue team was promptly called to the scene. Officials carefully removed the sleeping monkey from the shop. Authorities and animal welfare workers are expected to monitor its condition, provide necessary care, and help it recover from the effects of the alcohol.

Locals who gathered outside the shop could not resist a few light-hearted comments, hoping the rescuers would successfully “detox” the animal and offer it something to ease the inevitable hangover once it wakes up.
