Indian Embassy in Kabul Issued Visa to Afghan National Linked to Hafiz Gul Bahadur Group

The Indian Embassy in Kabul reportedly issued a visa to an Afghan national identified as Taqwa, who is alleged to have close links with the proscribed Hafiz Gul Bahadur group.

Sources told Baaghi Tv from Kabul, Taqwa was injured during an operation conducted by Pakistani security forces.

The Indian Embassy in Kabul subsequently issued him a visa to travel to India, and he arrived in the country on September 30.

Sources claim that Taqwa underwent surgery in India on November 4.

According to the sources, Taqwa has close links with the Hafiz Gul Bahadur group. A photograph has also surfaced purportedly showing him alongside Abdul Razzaq Izhar, the alleged suicide bomber involved in the attack on Bannu Cantonment.

The photograph is being cited as evidence of alleged connections between the two individuals and their links to a suspected militant network.

Some circles have alleged that issuing a visa to an individual reportedly associated with a militant organisation and facilitating his medical treatment in India amounts to providing support and assistance to terrorist elements.
