Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi Vows Justice for Student Laiba’s Death

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry visited the residence of deceased student Laiba in Sector G-10, Islamabad, and met her father and family to express their condolences over the tragic incident.
Mohsin Naqvi conveyed his heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family and offered prayers for the departed soul. Both ministers also recited Fateha for the deceased student.
The interior minister assured the family that justice would be ensured at all costs and that those responsible for Laiba’s death would be brought to justice.
“Every eye is filled with tears over the heartbreaking incident involving Laiba,” Naqvi said, expressing deep sorrow over the tragedy.
He said providing justice to the affected family was both a duty and a responsibility of the government. He further assured the family that the accused would not escape strict punishment under the law.
Naqvi confirmed that a First Information Report (FIR) had been registered and that police investigations were underway. He said investigators were examining all aspects of the incident and that the facts would be brought to light.
The interior minister reiterated that the government would ensure justice for the bereaved family and that those found responsible would be dealt with according to the law.
Islamabad Chief Commissioner, Deputy Inspector General (DIG), Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations and other relevant officials were also present during the visit.
