Sajid Bashir’s Luxury Property on London’s Park Lane Repossessed by High Court Over Years of Unpaid Rent; Mubasher Lucman’s Past Exposés Resurface

A luxury property on Park Lane, one of London's most prestigious and expensive addresses near Marble Arch, has been repossessed by its landlord following a London High Court order over years of unpaid rent.
The repossession was carried out on October 21, 2026, when High Court enforcement officers and bailiffs took control of the premises and formally handed possession back to the landlord. The case involves Sajid Bashir, who had reportedly failed to pay rent for several years.
The latest development has brought renewed attention to Sajid Bashir, who was previously the subject of allegations and investigative reports by Pakistani journalist and television anchor Mubasher Lucman.
In his television programmes, Lucman had raised serious allegations against Bashir, including claims of financial fraud and allegedly defrauding several Pakistani businessmen. His programmes also questioned Bashir's business dealings, financial activities and connections.
Lucman had further alleged that Bashir had been involved in facilitating money laundering and the movement of funds for corrupt politicians and members of their families. These allegations were highlighted in his television investigations over the years.
The London property dispute centres on prolonged non-payment of rent. Following legal proceedings, the High Court issued a possession order, which was subsequently enforced by court bailiffs on October 21. The landlord has now regained effective control of the premises.
Park Lane, particularly the area surrounding Marble Arch, is renowned for its luxury residences, high-value properties and exclusive addresses. Repossession through High Court enforcement is generally the final stage of a legal process after a possession order has been issued and the occupant has failed to vacate the premises.
The repossession has once again brought Bashir's name into the spotlight, reviving questions previously raised by Mubasher Lucman about his alleged financial dealings and business activities in Pakistan.
