Pakistan Reopens Airspace to Taiwanese Airlines

Pakistan has reissued permits allowing Taiwanese airlines to use its airspace, restoring access after a brief suspension. EVA Air has become the first Taiwanese commercial carrier to fly through Pakistani airspace following the lifting of the restrictions.
According to Bloomberg, EVA Air flight BR65, operating from Taipei to Vienna, entered Pakistani airspace at around 3:30 a.m. Pakistan time on Thursday.
The international financial news agency cited flight-tracking data from Flightradar24 to report the aircraft’s entry into Pakistani airspace.
The restoration of access allows Taiwanese airlines to resume using Pakistani airspace for their flight operations. Further details regarding the suspension and the decision to reinstate the permits were not immediately available.
