Pakistani Songs Interrupt Sara Ali Khan, Ayushmann Khurrana’s Film Promotion at Wagah-Attari Border

Bollywood actors Sara Ali Khan and Ayushmann Khurrana recently visited the Wagah-Attari border to promote their upcoming film Udta Teer, but Pakistani music played over loudspeakers on the other side of the border drew attention during the visit.

The actors attended the flag-lowering ceremony at the iconic border crossing, interacted with Indian Border Security Force (BSF) personnel and joined spectators in raising patriotic slogans. Videos of their visit, reportedly held on October 20.

Pakistani songs, including Atif Aslam’s rendition of Tajdar-e-Haram, were heard playing over loudspeakers on the Pakistani side. Clips showing the music playing during the promotional event attracted considerable attention online, with some Pakistani commentators interpreting the moment as a response to the film, which has been described in some circles as anti-Pakistan.
