Punjab Government Buys Four New Bulletproof Mercedes Cars from Germany for Rs 84 Crore

The Punjab government has finalised the purchase of four new bulletproof Mercedes vehicles from Germany. An amount of Rs 84 crore has already been paid for the cars. This figure does not include local taxes.

According to a special report by senior journalist Babar Dogar, the vehicles are black in colour and will come with a specially designed purple interior. Officials said the cars are expected to be delivered within the next 15 to 20 days.

Sources further revealed that the Chief Minister’s Secretariat already maintains a fleet of nearly 10 high-value bulletproof vehicles. The latest addition of four more Mercedes cars will further expand the official transport arrangements for the provincial leadership.

The procurement has been completed through official channels, with the payment transferred to the German supplier. Further details regarding the specific models and additional security features of the vehicles have not been made public at this stage.
