Tiger Shroff Escapes Unhurt After Firing Incident in Mumbai’s Juhu; Driver Among Two Injured

Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff escaped unhurt on Sunday evening after three motorcycle-borne men allegedly opened fire near him in the Juhu area of Mumbai. Two people, including the actor’s driver, were injured in the incident.

The firing took place near Pushpa Park under the jurisdiction of Juhu police station. According to police, the assailants arrived on a motorcycle and opened fire before fleeing the scene. Tiger Shroff, who was reportedly returning after a football game or practice, sustained no gunshot injuries. Mumbai Police confirmed that the actor is safe.

Officials said the actor’s driver and an autorickshaw driver were among those injured. Preliminary reports indicated that shots were fired at or near the vehicle carrying Shroff. A viral video circulating on social media appeared to show the incident. Police have recovered spent bullets from the site and launched a manhunt, with teams examining CCTV footage from the area.

DCP Mohit Garg stated that the incident was reported under Juhu police station limits and that further investigation is underway. Mumbai Police issued an official clarification: “Firing incident is reported under Juhu PS. Tiger Shroff is safe. He has not got any fire shot injury. Further investigation is underway.”

A social media post purportedly shared by overseas-based individuals linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang later claimed responsibility for the attack. Police have not yet confirmed any motive or the identity of the perpetrators.

The incident triggered political reactions, with Congress leader Sachin Sawant criticising the state of law and order in Mumbai and referring to previous high-profile cases involving threats and attacks on film personalities.

Tiger Shroff, 36, is the son of veteran actor Jackie Shroff and is known for his action roles since his debut in Heropanti (2014).
