US Ambassador Sergio Gor Visits Rajasthans Mahajan Field Firing Range During Yudh Abhyas 2026

US Ambassador to India Sergio Gor on Thursday visited the Mahajan Field Firing Range in Rajasthan, where Indian and US troops are participating in the ongoing joint military exercise Yudh Abhyas 2026.

During his visit, Ambassador Gor interacted with Indian and US soldiers taking part in the exercise and observed the joint training activities being conducted by the two forces. He was also briefed on various phases of the exercise, defence cooperation and joint operational activities.

The 22nd edition of Yudh Abhyas is being conducted at the Mahajan Field Firing Range in Rajasthan and Auli in Uttarakhand. Around 600 personnel each from the Indian and US armies are participating in the exercise.

Yudh Abhyas is one of the key joint military exercises conducted under the ongoing defence cooperation between India and the United States. The exercise focuses on enhancing interoperability between the two forces and training personnel for joint operations and combat situations.
