Azad Kashmir Residents Firmly Reject Protest Call by Banned Joint Public Action Committee

The people of Azad Kashmir have overwhelmingly rejected the protest call issued by the banned Joint Public Action Committee (JPAC), resulting in complete normalcy across the region on Sunday.

According to local officials and residents, the situation remained peaceful in Mirpur and other major districts, with no reports of any demonstrations or disruptions. Markets, shops, and business centers operated as usual, reflecting strong public disapproval of the banned group’s call for protests.

The rejection of the JPAC’s appeal underscores the prevailing desire for stability and normalcy among the local population amid ongoing efforts to maintain law and order in the region. Authorities confirmed that all essential services and daily activities continued uninterrupted.
