BCCI Announces India Squad for Women’s T20 World Cup 2026

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Saturday unveiled the 15-member squad for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026. Harmanpreet Kaur will captain the team, with Smriti Mandhana serving as vice-captain.

The announcement was made at a press conference at the BCCI headquarters in Mumbai following the women’s selection committee meeting. India will compete in the tournament, to be held in England from June 12 to July 5.

The squad combines experienced campaigners with in-form players, aiming for a balanced mix of batting firepower, all-round depth, and quality bowling options. India head into the event as strong contenders, buoyed by their recent 50-over World Cup success.
