Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Visits Ghurki House in Lahore

Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, visited the residence of senior PPP leader and former MNA Samina Khalid Ghurki, known as Ghurki House, on Tuesday.

During the meeting, Bilawal held detailed discussions with Ghurki on the country’s current political situation and internal party matters. The leaders reviewed organizational affairs, future strategies, and political engagements in Lahore, with special emphasis on strengthening the PPP Women’s Wing in Central Punjab.

Samina Khalid Ghurki, a prominent PPP figure who has served as President of the PPP Women’s Wing (Central Punjab) and as a former federal minister, frequently hosts party meetings at her Lahore residence. The visit is seen as part of ongoing efforts to bolster the party’s organizational structure and presence in the provincial capital.

This engagement comes after President Asif Ali Zardari’s earlier visit to Ghurki House in late April 2026 to congratulate her on her son’s forthcoming wedding and to appreciate her long-standing services to the party.

Party sources described the Chairman’s visit as a routine yet significant step toward party consolidation ahead of future political challenges.
