Blast in Lakki Marwat’s Sarai Naurang Bazaar Kills 10, Including Woman; Several Injured

A powerful explosion ripped through the Sarai Naurang Bazaar crossing in Lakki Marwat, killing at least ten people, including two traffic police personnel and a woman, while several others sustained injuries.
According to initial police reports, the blast is suspected to have been caused by explosives planted in a motorcycle. Rescue teams immediately shifted the dead and injured to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital in Sarai Naurang.
Hospital administration confirmed that seven bodies were initially brought to the hospital, while a woman later succumbed to her injuries, raising the death toll to eight.
Rescue 1122 officials stated that two traffic police officers, identified as LHC Rahatullah and Adil Jan, were among those killed in the explosion. Emergency responders continued rescue and evacuation operations at the site.
Meanwhile, in a separate incident in Bannu’s Fateh Khel area, unidentified individuals reportedly blew up the Redha Bridge using explosive materials.
