Gurdwara Kartarpur Governing Council meeting held in Islamabad

The eighth meeting of Gurdwara Kartarpur Governing Council chaired by Secretary for Religious Affairs Sajid Mahmoud Chauhan was held in Islamabad.
In his remarks on the occasion, the Secretary of Religious Affairs said the Kartarpur Corridor project is a symbol of humanitarianism and interfaith harmony.
He said provision of best facilities at Kartarpur is being ensured for the Sikh Yatrees.
Punjab Minister for Minorities Affairs Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora expressed the commitment to offering excellent hospitality to Sikh Yatrees.
The meeting also discussed the impact of Indian water aggression on the Kartarpur Corridor project.
It was decided to immediately restore the parts of the Kartarpur Sahib Corridor project that were affected by the recent floods.
It was decided to convene another Council meeting within two weeks to expedite repairs and restoration.
