Tensions across the Gulf escalated further as local sources reported that Iran has once again targeted US military installations in Bahrain and Kuwait with airstrikes.

According to multiple reports, Iranian forces, including the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), fired ballistic missiles and drones at “enemy bases” in the region. Kuwait’s Army General Staff confirmed that its air defense systems engaged incoming aerial targets, with explosions reported as interceptions occurred.

The strikes come amid a cycle of retaliation following US actions against Iranian radar sites and other targets. Bahrain, which hosts the US Navy’s Fifth Fleet, and Kuwait, home to key US air bases such as Ali Al Salem, both issued air raid alerts. Kuwaiti authorities stated that air defenses successfully intercepted several threats, while emphasizing the defense of their airspace.

No immediate confirmed casualties among US personnel have been widely reported, though the situation remains fluid. Both Gulf nations have condemned the Iranian attacks as violations of sovereignty and threats to regional stability.

This latest exchange marks a significant intensification in the ongoing West Asia conflict, raising fears of broader involvement and disruptions to critical oil routes in the Gulf. International monitoring continues as diplomatic efforts to de-escalate appear strained.
