The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) and meteorological departments have issued winter weather alerts for heavy rain and snowfall across Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Azad Jammu and Kashmir, warning of potential landslides and travel disruption through 27 January. Authorities have advised the public to avoid non-essential travel as weather systems continue to affect mountainous and high-altitude areas.
