Sources claim that hackers linked to Pakistan have carried out a significant cyber operation targeting the Afghan Taliban’s internal communication systems.

According to sources, cyber groups, said to be operating near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, successfully jammed several Taliban radio communication channels. Sources describe the action as disrupting supply line coordination and internal messaging near border areas, with some claims extending to broader access of sensitive data, internal links, and encrypted messages. Reports suggest temporary outages affected key servers, severely hampering Taliban operational coordination.

These allegations emerge amid heightened tensions between Islamabad and the Taliban-led government in Kabul.

Cybersecurity experts note that hybrid warfare tactics, including cyberattacks alongside kinetic operations, have become more prominent in regional rivalries.
