Serving army soldier arrested in drug smuggling case

In India, a new scandal has emerged with a serving army soldier arrested in a major drug smuggling case.
According to Indian newspaper ‘The Hindu’, Indian police arrested six individuals including a soldier, a policeman and women in Faridkot involved in drug smuggling.
According to the Indian newspaper, the accused misused official identity cards to pass easily through checkpoints and toll plazas.
