The Taliban regime has badly failed to cope with the returning Afghan refugees from around the world.

According to Afghan media outlet Amu TV, thousands of returning Afghan refugees are struggling with unemployment, limited access to healthcare and a lack of humanitarian assistance, particularly in Farah province.

The report said millions of Afghans returning from neighboring countries are confronting severe economic hardships, while the Taliban administration has failed to provide them with employment opportunities and other basic necessities.

The United Nations has also warned that the increasing number of returning refugees is placing additional pressure on humanitarian services and local communities across Afghanistan.

Refugee Affairs Expert Mohammad Jamal has warned that unless the Taliban authorities take immediate steps to address the problems of returning refugees, the country may face a major humanitarian crisis.

Analysts say the hardships faced by Afghan refugees returning to Afghanistan reflect the Taliban regime’s complete failure and incompetence in governing the country.
