US Embassy in New Delhi Launches ‘Freedom 250’ Campaign Featuring Donald Trump on Auto Rickshaws

The United States Embassy in New Delhi has launched a unique promotional campaign to celebrate the 250th anniversary of American independence, set to be marked on July 4. As part of the “Freedom 250” initiative, the embassy plans to display images of US President Donald Trump on thousands of auto rickshaws across the Indian capital.
According to official documents, the embassy has issued a tender for an advertising campaign that will cover approximately 8,000 auto rickshaws. The rear panels of these vehicles will feature specially designed visuals highlighting the United States’ independence, originally declared on July 4, 1776.
The campaign artwork includes the American flag, the iconic Statue of Liberty, and prominent images of President Trump. The design also carries the message “250th Happy Birthday America,” aimed at commemorating the historic milestone.
Documents released by the embassy’s Public Diplomacy Section state that durable, weather-resistant materials will be used to ensure the advertisements remain intact during varying conditions. The selected contractor will be responsible for printing, installation, and preparing design samples, while the embassy will provide the final creative layout.
The initiative is part of a broader global celebration, with President Trump formally launching the “Freedom 250” campaign, which is being observed across the United States and at American diplomatic missions worldwide.
