Veteran Screenwriter Salim Khan Admitted to ICU at Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital

Legendary Bollywood screenwriter Salim Khan, 90, father of superstar Salman Khan, was rushed to Lilavati Hospital in Bandra early Tuesday morning after experiencing severe giddiness. He has since been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for monitoring.

According to Dr. Jalil Parkar, the treating physician, Salim Khan arrived via emergency services around 8:30 a.m., initially handled in the emergency ward before being shifted to the ICU on the first floor. A multidisciplinary team, including neurologist Dr. Vinay Chavan, cardiologist Dr. Ajit Menon, neurosurgeon Dr. Nitin Dange, and others, is overseeing his care.

Reports from reliable sources indicate that Salim Khan has been diagnosed with a blood clot. His vital parameters remain stable, and he is under close observation.

Family members, including Salman Khan, daughter Alvira Khan Agnihotri, son-in-law Aayush Sharma, and others, were spotted arriving at the hospital to support him. Salman was seen departing later under security.
