Price of gold per tola continues to fall

In the country, the price of gold per tola continues to fall.

According to the Sindh Sarafa Bazar Jewelers Association, the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs.700, resulting in a price ofone lakh 8 thousand 500 rupees per tola.

The price of 10 grammes of gold declined by Rs 600 to Rs 93021, while the international gold price fell by 16 dollars to 1747 dollars per ounce.

It may be recalled that the price of gold per tola had also come down last week.

Gold prices have been falling as the Federal Reserve has suggested higher interest rates amid mounting inflation fears, but the yellow metal’s performance is influenced by a number of factors, including Treasury yields, the money supply, and the strength of the dollar.
