Protesters Block N-50 National Highway in Ziarat Over Alleged Abduction and Murder of Police Personnel

Relatives of the missing police personnel and local residents blocked the N-50 National Highway at the Ziarat Cross point on Tuesday, bringing traffic to a complete standstill in both directions.

The protest was triggered by the alleged abduction and killing of police officers in the Ziarat area. Demonstrators have formed a sit-in on the highway, causing long queues of vehicles to stretch for long distances. Travelers, including passengers on long-route journeys, are facing severe hardships due to the blockade.
