PTI expels ex-info secretary Ahmed Jawad
Former Central Secretary Information Ahmad Jawad’s party membership on Saturday was terminated after criticism and baseless allegations against the leadership of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
According to a PTI statement, the party membership of Ahmad Jawad has been terminated due to baseless allegations against the leadership. Based on the statements of former Secretary Information PTI, the PTI Standing Committee on Discipline and Accountability has decided to terminate the party membership of Ahmad Jawad.
The statement also said that Ahmad Jawad was given an opportunity to clear his position and show cause notices had been issued to him on January 12, 2022 and January 19, 2022. The PTI leader instead of explaining his position had sent a new list of charges.

“In light of the evidence and the written reply of Ahmad Jawad, it was decided to revoke his party membership,” the statement added. A two-member sub-committee on standing committee discipline and accountability has issued a written decision in this regard.

Responding to the decision, Ahmad said in a tweet: “A piece of paper which does not value more than a piece of shi*. A House of garbage which started as an ideology of Change.
