Punjab Health Department proposes to impose a complete lockdown

 Lahore, 11th April: Punjab health department has proposed to impose a complete lockdown in the province after an alarming increase in coronavirus cases.

According to reports, the Punjab health department has proposed a complete lockdown on Sunday for two weeks in the province to control the rising number of coronavirus cases.

A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Punjab Health Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid to review the current situation of the pandemic in the province. It was recommended to impose a complete lockdown in  Punjab for two weeks.

As per sources, approval for the lockdown will be sought in the Punjab cabinet meeting to be held on April 12.

Meanwhile, the Punjab government has issued special SOPs to be followed during the holy month of Ramadan to contain the spread of coronavirus.
