Lahore, 29th April: The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) makes a big announcement whether new currency notes will be issued or not.
State Bank of Pakistan has announced that it will not issue new currency notes on Eid-ul-Fitr this year due to the ongoing pandemic wave in the country.
SBP issued a statement and officially announced that just like last year when coronavirus was at its peak at this time around they will not be issuing new banknotes for the customers.
It is to be noted that the central bank issues new currency notes on Eid every year for customers to be used as Eidee (Eid Gifts).
