Lahore: In the wake of the tragic incident in Sialkot, another anti-national individual responsible for provoking the people, by invoking anti-Islam elements has reportedly been arrested.

According to reports, Talha, accused in the tragic incident in Sialkot, was taken into custody and transferred to an unknown location.

On the other hand, the police have so far arrested more than 1,115 accused with the help of the video. A preliminary report of the Sialkot incident has been sent to the Prime Minister and Chief Minister of Punjab, the report attributed the incident to religious extremism.

Initial reports said the factory machine had a religious sticker on it. Due to the visit of foreigners, the manager asked the staff to remove the sticker. On the refusal of the employees, the manager removed it himself.

On the other hand, the Punjab government submitted a preliminary report in this regard to Prime Minister Imran Khan, in which it was stated that 112 accused, including the main accused, have been arrested so far. In Sialkot, those who were provoked were also arrested. Additionally, the Police have started a further investigation following the arrest of the main accused.

The report further said that the accused were arrested and shifted to an unknown location for further investigation. The persons involved in the incident were identified with the help of the factory managers.

The report of the Sialkot incident further stated that the beating started at 11 o’clock in the morning. At 11:25 a.m., 3 officers arrived on the scene. Shortly before the incident, the workers were fired for breach of discipline. The workers were already angry at the manager’s strict discipline and work ethic.

The report further said that a delegation of a few foreign companies was to visit the factory. The manager told the workers that all the machines should be cleaned, and asked to remove the stickers on the machine. Allegedly, when the factory employees did not remove the stickers, the manager himself removed them. At first glance, the workers used the stickers as an excuse for the violence claiming that the stickers had religious inscriptions written on them.
