Six South Asian Nationals Detained in Bahrain

Authorities in the Kingdom of Bahrain have detained six South Asian nationals as part of an ongoing security investigation, according to information circulating on local monitoring platforms.

The individuals identified in the report include Arsalan Ali Sajid, Abdul Rahman Abdul Sattar, Mohamed Moaz Akbar, Afzal Khan, Ahmed Mumtaz, all reported to be Pakistani nationals,  along with Mohamed Israfel Meer, who is identified as a Bangladeshi national.

Security-related sources claim the arrests were carried out during a recent operation aimed at addressing suspected violations linked to national security and public safety. However, authorities have not yet released detailed information regarding the specific allegations or charges.
