Lahore: The blessings of the holy month of Ramadan continue. Allama Abdul Shakoor Haqqani while explaining the glory of the verses of the Holy Qur’an pertaining to the revelation of the verses said that Allah Almighty has stated in this verse that a delegation of Christians came to the Messenger of Allah (SAW). Allama Haqqani said that in this verse, Allah Almighty has commanded that you should not consider halal things as haraam. And do not consider such haraam things as halal, and those who swear and make halal things haraam for themselves, then they have to pay that kind of expiation. People who swear and do not fulfill their oaths should pay expiation for breaking such promises. Such as, to feed ten poor people or to take the clothes of ten poor people.

Allama Haqqani added that Allah Almighty has also commanded that alcohol, gambling and money are all haraam. These are evil deeds which Allah has forbidden. In this verse, Allah forbids hunting during Hajj and Umrah. Its purpose is to keep this land a center of peace and order.

He added that Allah Almighty said that the ruling has been given by Allah regarding halal and haraam. We must follow it. At the same time, it has been said that when the revelation is being bestowed on the Prophet Muhammad (SAW), do not ask more questions from the Messenger of Allah (SAW).
