May 12, 2021: Lady Reading Hospital Peshawar’s LRH Nursing Division pays tribute to nurses working in Corona Complex.
According to hospital spokesperson Mohammad Asim, International Nurses’ Day is being celebrated all over the world. In this regard, LRH’s Nursing Director Miss Catherine Monana and Nursing Manager Mohammad Ilyas visited the Corona Complex and paid tribute to the nurses. At present, about 435 nurses are working day and night in the Corona Complex of LRH and are playing their important role.
The Director of Nursing herself personally distributed honorary certificates to the nurses and praised their work. Catherine Monana said that caring for Corona patients is a very challenging task but the way LRH nurses have accepted this challenge will be written down in history.
She added that the Corona pandemic is far from over so nurses have to keep their morale high and the staff at LRH continues to do their best in these difficult times.
The spokesperson clarified that the nursing department is playing a very important role in the epidemic of Corona and in this regard the hospital management is fully supporting them.
