Trump Renews Stark Ultimatum to Iran Ahead of Islamabad Talks

U.S. President Donald Trump has issued a strong warning to Iran, stating that American representatives will head to Islamabad for the next round of negotiations and threatening to knock out every single power plant and bridge in Iran if Tehran rejects the U.S.-proposed deal.

In a social media post on Sunday, Trump accused Iran of violating the fragile ceasefire by firing bullets in the Strait of Hormuz, targeting vessels including a French ship and a British freighter. He described the incident as “not nice” and framed it as a serious breach of the agreement.

Trump emphasized that the United States is offering what he called a “very fair and reasonable deal,” adding: “If they don’t, the United States is going to knock out every single Power Plant, and every single Bridge, in Iran.” He also referred to ending the “Iran killing machine.”

The comments come as the two-week ceasefire, brokered earlier in April, faces mounting pressure. The truce was meant to allow safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz, a critical global oil route, but Iran has been accused of reimposing restrictions and firing on shipping, while the U.S. maintains a naval blockade on Iranian ports.
